A CHRISTMAS CAROL

The Three Ships Collective’s A Christmas Carol is an original and immersive theatrical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ story that includes brand new scenes, characters, dialogue, and songs, making it a retelling of the beloved holiday tale unlike any other! Set in the historic and picturesque Campbell House Museum located at the corner of Queen and University in downtown Toronto, this production invites audience members to step into the world of Victorian England and follow flinty miser Ebenezer Scrooge on his ghostly journey of redemption.

It was first staged in December 2018 and was an immediate success; selling out the entire run even before the first public performance, and receiving rave reviews from both the press and public alike. The production was recognized at the 2018 My Entertainment World Awards, with lead actor Thomas Gough winning for ‘Outstanding Leading Performance in a Play (Independent)’, and director Sarah Thorpe nominated for ‘Outstanding Direction’.

A mirthful medley of magic, music, and the macabre, A Christmas Carol is an unmissable holiday experience!
