Celeste Cartwright (She/Her) – Little Ebenezer / Tim Cratchit

At just nine years old, Celeste Cartwright is elated to be making her professional stage debut in A Christmas Carol! She discovered her passion for acting and comedy through Second City improv training, where she fell in love with creativity, collaboration, and storytelling.

Her previous stage performances include playing Little Anna in The Country Day School’s production of Frozen Jr. Celeste’s film work includes starring as the lead role in Family Portraits (Post-Production) and a principal role in Dear Ms. Translator (Post-Production).

When she’s not performing, you’ll find Celeste hanging out with her family, friends, and her beloved Weimaraner, Freddie Mercury. She is thrilled to be part of this production and is grateful for the opportunity to share her joy and passion for performing with audiences.

Autumn Davis (She/Her) – Barleycorn / Ghost of Christmas Present

Autumn Davis is a Dora Mavor Moore award winning artist and actor who trained at TMU (Ryerson University). Hailing from Scarborough Ontario, Autumn approaches her works with passion, curiosity and joy. An aspiring actor, director and Clown, she attacks her craft with humor and an eagerness to explore new creative challenges. Through movement, song, text and reckless abandon, Autumn seeks to expand the boundaries of her storytelling and creative expression.

Kendra Dyck (She/Her) – Violinist / Bailiwick

Kendra is a soprano, actress, and (sometimes) violinist, currently based in the Niagara Region. She is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University and the Glenn Gould School, and is elated to be joining Three Ships Collective for this holiday season!

Kendra has been praised as a “natural comedienne” [Opera Canada], who “possesses a pleasant, sweet-toned soprano that she’s well capable of colouring for dramatic effect” [OperaRamblings]. She is a three-time semi-finalist of The Lotte Lenya Competition, also reaching the finals in 2024, and recently enjoyed a double role debut with Festival Opéra Bastide in France this past summer, alternating performances as Mercédès and Frasquita in Bizet’s Carmen.

Keren Edelist (She/They) – Ghost of Christmases Past / Peter Cratchit

Keren Edelist is an actor and theatre creator based in Toronto and is delighted to be joining the cast of A Christmas Carol this year! Keren is a graduate with honours from George Brown College’s Theatre Arts – Performance Program; a burgeoning actor and director, she is always seeking new challenges. Select theatre credits include Rooney in Featherhead (BirdBrain Theatre Collective), Karen Wright in The Children’s Hour (GBTS), Elizabeth Neufeld in Women of The Ward (Museum of Toronto). Directing; A Midsummer Night’s Dream (BarTeam Theatre), Painting by Numbers (Fresh Palette Theatre). They believe art is for cracking open like an egg, clearing away the cobwebs, and that glimmer in the middle of a hard day! TV: The Handmaid’s Tale/Gilead 6 Prod.

Thomas Gough (He/Him) – Ebenezer Scrooge

Thomas works frequently in the Independent Theatre in Toronto, having appeared in the last few years with the Alumnæ Theatre, Safeword, Single Thread, the Toronto Fringe Festival, the Storefront, Thought For Food, Theatre Lab, Plain Stage, Unspoken Theatre, and Hart House Theatre, as well as Theatre By The Bay (Barrie) and the Kick And Push Festival (Kingston). He also does film, television, and recording work.

For his initial performance as Ebenezer Scrooge in Three Ships Collective’s perenially sold-out production of A Christmas Carol, he was given the My Entertainment Critics’ Pick Award for the best performance by an actor in an independent theatre production. He also won the 1997 Nobel Prize for Kvetching.

Janelle Hanna (She/Her) – Mrs. Dilber / Mrs. Fezziwig

Janelle is a Toronto-based artist who has been working professionally in theatre, film, tv, and voiceover for the past eighteen years. Fun fact: the first movie Janelle ever saw in theatres was The Muppet Christmas Carol, and she is thrilled to be a part of this annual holiday tradition at Campbell House Museum. Justin Hay (He/Him) – Bob Cratchit / Augustus Scrooge

Justin is delighted to be rejoining the cast of A Christmas Carol. Most recently, Justin appeared in Plosive Theatre’s Private Fears in Public Places in Ottawa, and continues to perform his solo show My Own Private Shakespeare, which he has taken to McDonald’s Corners, New York, Edinburgh Fringe, and Toronto. He also wrote and directed Saskatchewan: An Aspirational Polyamorous Adventure at the Toronto Fringe. Other notable acting credits include Your Children Will Follow, Hymns and Hearse, Hallmark’s The Perfect Setting, See You Tomorrow for CBC, Brutus in Julius Caesar: In Shallows and In Miseries, and a range of roles in the sci-fi podcast series The Program.

Jacob Klick (He/Him) – Young Ebenezer / Old Joe

Jacob is an actor from Vars, by way of Winnipeg, and is making his Three Ships Collective debut. Some of his other theatre credits include Macheath in The Threepenny Opera, Brutus in Julius Caesar, Tom Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie, and Mr. Darcy in Pride & Prejudice. His select media credits include The Shadow of Us; Faded, Not Yet Gone; Black Watch Snipers; Mr. Hockey: The Gordie Howe Story; and Goon. Sia Liu (She/Her) – Little Ebenezer / Tim Cratchit

Sia is thrilled to be part of this exciting production! She began performing in theatre at just three years old and has continued to grow her passion on stage ever since. She has performed in multiple productions at Bravo Academy, taking on both leading and featured roles.

As a budding professional, Sia has appeared in a few commercials and trains in acting and singing every week. She absolutely loves performing—whether it’s on stage or singing in the shower! Sia speaks Mandarin, English, and French fluently, and is currently learning Spanish. Outside of the spotlight, she enjoys doodling, reading, and playing the flute. She believes great acting comes from imagination—and books help keep hers full of ideas!

Ava Belle Marquis (She/Her) – Martha Cratchit / Gus the Goose-Fetching Lad

Ava is delighted to return for her fourth season with Three Ships Collective’s A Christmas Carol. A versatile young performer, she is passionate about acting, voice work, singing, and dance. She trains and competes in dance and musical theatre with Beaches Dance and Music Studio, studies voice and acting with Margo Brooke Pellmar, and recently joined a teen advanced acting program with Young Actors HQ. Ava is a French Immersion student and plays percussion in her school concert band. This Christmas she looks forward to skiing with her family in Vermont. She is thrilled to once again be part of this wonderful production and wishes everyone a warm and joyful holiday season!

Kendelle Parks (She/Her) – Lydia Berryman / Ghost of Christmases Yet-to-Come

Kendelle Parks (she/her) is an actor and theatre artist, based in the GTA. She is a graduate of the BFA acting program at Toronto Metropolitan University, and is thrilled to be returning for her second year with A Christmas Carol! Kendelle loves theatre that uses heightened language, portrays morally grey characters, and embraces the silly or absurd. Shannon Pitre (She/Her) – Belle / Alice

Shannon is an interdisciplinary actor/creator with a BFA in Acting from the University of Windsor (2019), currently based in Toronto, ON. Her passions include new play development, devised and contact-based physical theatre, reimagining of classical works, and arts education. Shannon loves that theatre stirs communication and community, and feels it is one of the most authentic and genuine ways of expressing one’s humanity. She is always inspired by the vast amount of talent, generosity, and love found within her creative circles. Benjamin Thomas (He/Him) – Fred / Fezziwig

Benjamin Thomas is a Toronto-based actor and theatre artist with a deep love of storytelling and collaborative creation. He is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada (2019) and holds a BA from York University, specializing in English and Community-Engaged Theatre. Benjamin has performed with companies across the country, most recently appearing in The Grove Theatre’s 2025 summer season. His screen work includes Murdoch Mysteries (CBC) and the upcoming feature film Trust Me, I’m a Doctor (currently in post-production). In addition to his performance work, Benjamin has facilitated arts programming in communities throughout Ontario, Saskatchewan, and the Northwest Territories, with a focus on youth, Indigenous communities, and underrepresented voices. He brings a deep belief in the power of theatre to build empathy, joy, and connection.

Brianne Tucker (She/Her/They) – Emily Cratchit

Brianne (Métis) is thankful to be back in the Cratchit kitchen with her wonderful pretend family. Mairead Canning (She/Her) – Assistant Designer / Assistant Stage Manager

Mairead Canning is a Toronto based theatre artist. She specialises in costume and set design, as well as playwriting and dramaturgy. Some notable credits include Head Dresser on Evil Dead the Musical with Starvox Entertainment,  Cosi Fan Tutti with Uof T Opera, and 1939 with Canadian Stage. Liam Cox (They/He) – Stage Manager

A recent graduate of TMU’s Performance Production Program, Liam is an emerging stage manager based in Tkaronto who is passionate about creating theatre that is dynamic, silly, full of heart, and a little bit queer. He is excited to be a part of A Christmas Carol this holiday season! John Fleming (He/Him) – Dialect Coach

John is an actor, producer, and dialect coach. He’s coached film & television shows like Umbrella Academy & The Boys, coached dozens of theatrical productions from Dora-winning shows, to big musicals, to previous productions of Three Ship’s Christmas Carol. He’s acted on stage across North America, and on television including Murdoch Mysteries, Frankie Drake, and The Madness. Pratik Gandhi (He/Him) – Composer / Music Director Emeritus

Pratik is a conductor and researcher based in Toronto. He is Soup Can Theatre’s music director emeritus, and has conducted, composed, and arranged music for many of their best-loved productions, including Love is a Poverty You Can Sell and A Christmas Carol. Pratik is currently music director of the Rouge River Winds and the Milton Philharmonic Orchestra, and Vice-Chair of the Concert Band division of MusicFest Canada. He is also a sessional lecturer in the University of Toronto Faculty of Music, where he directs wind ensembles and teaches conducting. Pratik is very active in Toronto’s new music scene, and is credited as conductor on several recordings of new music, including the Juno-nominated track “Granitic” from Bekah Simms’ debut album, impurity chains. Pratik received B.Mus. and M.Mus. degrees from the University of Western Ontario, and is currently a Ph.D. student at York University, investigating issues of equity and representation among wind band composers in Canada.

Justin Haigh (He/Him) – Playwright / Assistant Director / Co-Producer

Justin is a Toronto-based writer and theatre artist. After earning a BFA in Film Production and Screenwriting, Justin stumbled into the wonderful world of independent theatre. Justin is proud to be one of the founding members of Soup Can Theatre and has enjoyed working on their productions in a multitude of capacities – including as playwright, director, producer, set designer, sound designer, and dramaturge. Other credits include Love is a Poverty You Can Sell, Marat/Sade, Antigone, A Hand of Bridge / No Exit, Love is a Poverty You Can Sell 2: Kisses for a Pfennig, The Session, and Heretic. Justin has also written for CBC Comedy and is the writer-director of the critically acclaimed sketch revue, Behold, the Barfly!

Nála Lendor (She/Her) – Designer

Nála Lendor is a Toronto-based Caribbean costume designer, textile artist, and a creator who blends empathy and intention into her creations. Passionate about pushing boundaries, she explores the transformative power of art through immersive storytelling with textiles. Drawing from her cultural heritage and personal experiences, Nála’s work reflects identity, joy, and connection, inviting viewers into emotional and visual worlds.

Alecia Pagnotta (She/Her) – Music Director / Production Manager / Assistant Producer

Alecia is thrilled to be returning to this year’s production of A Christmas Carol. Alecia is a Toronto based production manager, director, producer, actor and musician. Her love for storytelling has allowed her to connect with audiences and artists both on and off stage. As an administrator/production manager Alecia has recently collaborated on seasons with The Grove Theatre and Guild Festival Theatre. Catie Thorne (She/Her) – Production Associate

Catie Thorne is a Toronto-based director, performer, writer, and producer who explores the intersection of tradition, innovation, and humanity in her artistic practice. She is ecstatic to be a part of the team for this year’s A Christmas Carol! Catie is the artistic director of Sheep’s Clothing Theatre, and the XR Producer at Single Thread Theatre Company. Catie has collaborated with renowned organizations such as Canadian Stage, Netflix, SummerWorks and Chimerik 似不像. She is the co-creator, producer and director of Blood Brothers, an immersive retelling of Julius Caesar set in a frat house that had a sold out run in August 2025. Her play Pony Girls was selected and staged at Hamilton Fringe on the Streets. Her artistic vision merges unconventional storytelling with a deep passion for live performance. Sare Thorpe (They/Them) – Director / Co-Producer

Sare is a queer, trans nonbinary, multidisciplinary artist. They hold a BAH in Theatre from York University. Select directing credits for Soup Can Theatre include No Exit, Marat/Sade, and their original creation and TO Fringe hit Love is a Poverty You Can Sell. They have directed every production of A Christmas Carol since 2018.
